A Proud Day for BHSS Sogam Athletics
We are incredibly proud to announce that Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Sogam has emerged victorious in the Inter-School Zonal Level Handball Tournament, sweeping the championship titles in both the Under-17 and Under-19 categories!
Hosted right here on the BHSS Sogam ground on June 11, 2026, the tournament was a spectacular showcase of local talent. Our student-athletes displayed exceptional skill, relentless teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship on the court. Securing the top podium spot in both age brackets is a massive achievement and a direct testament to the hard work of our players and the dedication of our physical education faculty.
Congratulations to all the players and supporting staff especially Mr Aashiq Hussain Wani (PEM) and Mr Nasrullah Khan (PET) who made this remarkable double-victory possible. You have brought immense pride to the institution and set a high standard for athletic excellence for the entire student body.
